First off, let me just say that my son has reached major milestones this past week!!! As of last weekend, MJ is standing on his own, holding onto fixtures such as the couch and end table and cruising. He loves to hold onto the couch and walk to the table. He has also perfected his crawl game. He is still not 100% with it but he loves to crawl from couch to couch then cruise to the table! LOL. These days, he doesn't like to be held much (unless it's his daddy biting is tummy), he much rather chill out on the floor. Also, as you can probably see from these pics, MJ's been sporting a braid these days. His hair is so out of control (he has a mo-hawk, slim pickings on the sides and back, and a fro up top) and the only thing I can do, is braid it. His daddy will not allow me to give him a ponytail.
MJ now likes playing in his crib because he can now stand on his own and get to all the toys on his crib. He loves holding onto the spokes in the crib and standing or just hanging out peeking through the bars. Funny story, Mario and I put MJ in his crib one night this past week and we engaged in a discussion (I think we were talking politics). So we got all into our conversation and next thing we know we here a grunt coming from the crib and MJ was holding on the bars like so (see the picture above). When we both looked at him as if to inquire if something was wrong, he stood up and just laughed!!!
